Fitness and health has always been a passion of mine.  I grew up being active in sports like swimming, basketball, track, gymnastics and volleyball.  Whether it's competition in sports or with myself, that's what drives and motivates me.
Being a mother of two has been the joy of my life.  My children love to work out with me, which can be quite comical!  Knowing that I'm encouraging and teaching them to live a healthy lifestyle is very fulfilling.
I absolutely love sharing what I've learned about nutrition and exercise with others, motivating friends and clients and inspiring them to work hard to meet personal goals and dreams...
I began pursuing Personal Training at the end of 2010 and was introduced to Dan Arvidson at CrossFit Nine.  I wasn't sure what CrossFit was, but once I did a WOD (workout of the day) I was instantly hooked!  The doors began to for me to begin this incredible journey.  The atmosphere and team moral that CrossFit Nine brings reminds me of my days playing team sports.  I absolutely love the fact that we are all working out together, striving for the same goals in a positive and uplifting environment.  Those goals are reduced body fat, increased lean muscle mass, definition, strength, endurance, and improved health.
CrossFit has totally given me a new out look on exercise.  It's not about how much you can curl or bench press; it's about increasing your strength, mobility, flexibility, speed and power.  It's a workout that can be modified to meet the needs and goals of everyone. I feel incorporating the high intensity of CrossFit along with the personal aspect of one on one training sets me apart from other personal trainers.
